One Card
What is the One Card program?
One Card is a cooperative program between Eagle County Schools, Eagle Valley Library District (EVLD) and the Vail Public Library (VPL) to provide every student free access to information and educational resources at the public libraries by using their Student I.D.s. Students will use their ECSD district sNumber to log in to these library systems.
The One Card program simplifies the library card application process and connects students to millions of FREE resources including:
Computer use and WiFi at the libraries
Extensive research databases for homework
Language learning tools
Books, audiobooks, graphic novels, movies and magazines
Digital and Downloadable Resources such as eBooks, eAudiobooks, music and magazines
The "Library of Things"
How does it work?
It’s simple. Enrollment in the program is part of the online school registration/information update process. Parents may opt-out of the One Card program at that time if they choose.
Are all students eligible for the program?
All K - 12 Eagle County Schools students are eligible if their parent/guardian has completed the One Card Permission Slip (English & Spanish).
How much does this cost?
It’s free!
What do I need to know about borrowing privileges?
The One Card program follows the same guidelines as other library cards at the Eagle Valley Library District and the Vail Public Library.
